Where was the media when journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed by a car bomb?

Time magazine has released their person(s) of the year and they have named slain “journalist” Jamal Khashoggi as one of them.

Khashoggi, a long time spook with ties to weapons dealers, Osama Bin Laden, Saudi Intelligence, and our own CIA was killed in a Saudi embassy this year. The anti-Trump media has tried to spin the killing as a result of Trump’s attacks on the media and also as an avenue to question Trump about America’s ties to Saudi Arabia despite that being true for every President in recent history. America has a strange relationship with Saudi Arabia and this has been true for decades. Nothing has really changed about that relationship with Trump in office, despite the mainstream media pretending this is a totally new thing.

But what exposes Time Magazine and the rest of the mainstream media more than anything is the fact that when journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed by a car bomb because of her work investigating the Panama Papers, the media barely covered it.

In that case, you had a woman who was murdered in broad daylight and it happened in Malta, a country which is part of the European Union. Yet, the media barely covered it for a day and the story quickly faded.

So why does the media care so much about the murder of a known intelligence operative like Khashoggi and not a true journalist like Daphne Caruana Galizia. It’s simple, the Khashoggi murder gives the media an avenue to attack Trump, so they won’t let the story go away despite the issue being totally unrelated to Trump.

Not only that, they are missing a much bigger story. Khashoggi worked at the Washing Post, a paper with documented ties to the CIA and a well known CIA mouthpiece on foreign affairs. If he was working at the Post, that means he was working with the CIA as well in some capacity.

So why then did the CIA let him walk right into an assassination? The CIA has released information showing they had a great deal of knowledge regarding the murder. So why didn’t the CIA warn Khashoggi? Even if they only suspected he was in danger, why not give him a heads up on the matter so he could avoid the embassy all together?

It’s clear the CIA knew about the assassination planned for Khashoggi and they let it happen. Why is that?

Sadly, we will probably never know and the press certainly won’t pursue it because they hate Trump and have fallen in love with deep state agencies like the CIA.

What’s worse is that Time gave Khashoggi the spotlight, and named a few other journalists as basically runners-up. It’s a disgrace since Khashoggi was not a journalist at all. He was an intelligence spook who played both sides for most of his career. Then he started writing op-eds for the Washington Post which is hardly journalism. So when Time named Khashoggi as person of the year, they disgraced real journalists who have sacrificed because of their work exposing truth.

But this is just another sad and pathetic example of the anti-Trump media using someone’s death to push forward their anti-Trump rhetoric and narrative. Just last week was another example during the funeral of George H.W. Bush. The media jumped on the chance to use his death to attack Trump. It was disgraceful, but not as bad as John McCain’s funeral, which turned into a full anti-Trump rant during the funeral itself. And the media was quick to jump on board, using the death of McCain to push their own narrative against Trump.

But I suppose we shouldn’t have expected much better from Time Magazine. Let’s not forget it was Time reporter Zeke Miller who knowingly and falsely claimed that Trump had the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. removed from the White House.

But as we can see with this latest stunt, the journalistic standards at Time have not improved over the past two years.
